For the price, awesome. The crimp is small, my blue points crimp a bit better with a wider pinch that holds the wires together better. Still though, great for the price.

I modified these pliers by cutting the tips off. I could then use them as bead rollers for my 7.3 powerstroke charge pipes. I haven't blown my boots off since rolling the beads out. Awesome for when you're pushing more than stock PSI

The Eclipse Tools Crimper Pliers are as good as the well known-brand name crimpers, but cost less. After using them several times I can say they are well made and a good value. I've used the other type of crimpers that only flatten the connector to the wire. They usually have strippers somewhere on the tool, too. Those type don't make a reliable crimp! You'd be better off soldering the wire connection. If that isn't possible these are the style of crimpers to use. I like the indent that the tool uses to push the connectors sleeve into the joined wire. It really makes for a strong and durable crimp. The wire snips at the nose of this tool is sharp and seems solid. The dipped insulated handles are thick and shouldn't pull-off like some lesser brand pliers. The pliers are 9 1/2 inches in length and provide ample force to create a sound crimp.

I bought these to replac a set that that whent missing from my work tool box. This is a solid set and makes good crimps but needs a shot of wd40 and to be worked as they are very tight when you get them. These are better than the ones you get from harbor fright that are the all in one and with the crimping jaw on the front they are much easyer to use then the ones with the crimping jaw in the rear
