It stopped working while I was trying to set it up. The thread from the bottom just fell out and I was looking at YouTube tutorial and they wanted me to brake the whole machine apart. decided to return it.

This machine is great for beginners, the only thing I’d have to say is there aren’t any directions in the box . The “directions” are just a book of labeling what’s on the machine .I searched this machine online and found a YouTube video on directions and was so surprised on how simple it is to operate and use .Very light .Great value .I’d say the tension bobbin is kind of pointless on this machine, no matter how loose you make it, it seems to get caught in it .THIS IS ONLY ONE STITCH PATTERN !!I thought it had settings to change the patterns but it’s okay, it’s a nice simple pattern .

This shoe-string budget sewing machine will not make anyone happy. Both the power cord and the cord between the machine to the foot pedal are half as long as they need to be. The first you can solve with an extension cord, but you would have to be truly midget size to use your foot with the pedal, or operate it with your thigh, or something, as the signal cable to the foot pedal is some kind of Japan or barrel plug thing you likely won't have an extension cord handy for.The two-page manual technically uses English words, but the context is mostly lost in the poor translation from (let's guess) some east-asian language probably spoken in the people's republic of China, Japan, or Korea. The table you run your cloth over while sewing doesn't have any way of hooking into the machine, so they keep separating and falling apart unless you MacGyver them together or have someone hold them for you. It's technically a two-speed sewing machine, but in practice, it feels more dangerous than useful to operate and I think this one will not get much use in the end, as it's particularly easy to poke holes in your skin for blood to come out of with a machine that is this flimsy and jabs a sharp needle up and down close to where your hands have to be to guide the material, while you probably are using one hand to operate the foot pedal.Basically: this machine is dangerous. Might make a good gift to someone you really don't like.

I need something for some Christmas gifts i am working on. I have arthritis so hand sewing was out of the question. Great little machine. Only complaint i have is the pedal cord is extremely short, so i had to keep it on the table and use a hand to run it, Otherwise i would have given it 5 stars. It was a little challenging, but it got the job done.
