I don't have that much experience with bongos but it does sound like a bongo. It is not harsh like a toy. just be mindful that the body is made of metal and the rubber feet can be easily removed. A child might pick the rubber feet and become a choking hazard. If you remove the rubber feet the threads will be exposed and could potentially be a cutting hazard.

These things you have to look at sizes and see if it’s like not a toy. I’ve gotten caught out many times.

Es más pequeño de lo que se ve. Está bien para niños chiquitos, aunque no suena muy bien. Un poco decepcionante.

My 2 year old likes them. Theyre a lot of fun, just the right size and weight for a little kid.

We ordered these bongo drums for our 5-year-old grandson for Christmas. I also order large soft-headed drumsticks he can use on them, and he was able to make great music along with his older cousins. The drum seems sturdy enough to last for a long time. When he wasn't playing with them one of the adults at the party were playing either with the sticks or with their fingers.
