Unfortunately this mouthpiece isn't compatible with my Mendini pocket trumpet (should I have expected it to be? I don't know, I mainly play woodwinds). It looked promising at first because the mouthpiece is the same length as the 7C I already have, but the shank doesn't flare out as much and therefore doesn't sit snug in the instrument. I guess I'll just use it for buzzing practice, or as shelf decoration until I get my hands on another trumpet (it is a very pretty rosy gold color).

I have a nephew starting to learn trumpet, but the mouthpiece that came with the used instrument was all dented. I got this one for him and it seems fantastic. I tried it on my instrument and it seems perfect. This particular size is designed for a newer musician. I'm very pleased that I could get a good mouthpiece and great value.
