The Easton ghost is by far one of the top performers in competitive fast pitch bats. The sweet spot is very generous, it has a great sound, excellent balance and almost no hand sting. The downside however is how fragile these are. My daughter uses them in college play and it is common to crack 1-3 bats in a single year with normal use. Easton will replace cracked bats up to one year from original purchase, but after that you are on your own. If you are comfortable buying a new bat every year, this is a great bat for performance, but if you are concerned about durability you should consider avoiding double barrels and look at demarini CF or LS LXT, etc..

My 12yr old plays travel 14u and middle school ball. Has used this bat 8 months now and probably has over 1000 cuts on it between her and the other 2 that swing it. Tons of multi base hits!
