Had the 9000, it’s so smooth etc but I keep coming back to the 5000 hi hat and bass pedal.Classic feel, rock solid, built like a tank.

Llegó antes de lo prometido y DW es garantía por sí misma. Me gustó mucho, es sólida y funcional, sin complicaciones. Un detalle especial es que trae un segurito para colgar la llave del soporte en el propio soporte, así que allí estará cuando siempre que la necesites.

I was honestly really impressed by this stand. It's very heavy (that's a good thing, it means it's sturdy as heck) and the way it's designed, it's absolutely not going anywhere. I am not at all worried about this thing toppling over in the middle of a gig. Works best with a drum rug, I would not recommend using this thing on a hardwood floor as it will likely damage it. Seems to fold up really easily for transport, but comes with the option to screw the foot pedal down into a more permanent position if you don't plan to gig, which I thought was pretty neat.Honestly my only complaint is the instructions were a little unclear. If this is your first hi-hat stand you might struggle getting it set up. It also comes with the foot tension set super loose by default. It took me forever to figure out why my hats were sagging as soon as I clamped them in when my cheap stand held them up just fine haha. Adjusted the tension to be really tight and now it works like a dream. My hat flips on this thing are smooth as butter.Bottom line, if you plan to get a DW5000 double pedal, this absolutely must go with it. Heck, even if you're a single pedal user, this is a good stand on it's own.

Buena estabilidad, el clutch se sostiene mucho mejor que el promedio de stands y para la inclinación de los platillos no funciona con resorte si no con un tornillo con mariposa; esto le da mas precisión y menor destaste. En definitiva es buen precio y excelente producto

The seller has been rated as 2/5 as the product turned up with a slight warped foot plate and signs of mild wear and tear. Possible ex demo with very little play? However, fixed the item and it is excellent. I owned this model 15 years ago and forgot how smooth and solid it is. Only minor issue is setting up and down is not as easy as other hi hat models so be prepared to allow extra time or extra room as the foot pedal will only be raised once you unscrew the attachments.
