I placed this roller in the center section of my boat trailer because I was having issues with the bow of my boat hitting a cross member on my trailer when loading it at the ramp that I use. This was the perfect fix for my problem. The roller let the boat glide over the frame with ease. The roller spins well with the boat crossing it and the design helps to center the boat. My boat trailer has only 2 ½-inch tubing so I had to use shorter bolts to get the desired placement for my trailer. I am very satisfied with this roller. I would definitely buy again if I have the need.

This boat trailer roller is well made and well put together. All heavy duty components. The mount is solid and the roller is a quality dense rubber. Very happy with the quality of this roller. Definitely recommend!

I have a 1988 boat and one of the keel rollers and mounts broke the welds and was no longer in usable condition. I cut them off and smoothed out the beam with a grinder before attaching this replacement. Once I had everything lined up and marked it was easy to drill the holes to mount this with the included hardware. Before final tightening of the bolts I raised my boat with a garage jack to get this in the right position to hold the weight. All in all it took maybe an hour (with a bad drill bit) to get this installed. Works better than the original.

I modified my "lake assault" trailer to hold a small sailboat I just purchased, as well as our old kayaks and paddleboards. The boat is about 130 pounds, so when I reach the back of the trailer, it's nice to just put the bow on it and push in to roll towards the front. The roller is made for a much heavier boat, being so heavy duty, it would work for a cabin cruiser as well. But, for me, this is the perfect application!

I think there’s better options out there than these, they will work but won’t last.
