It was delivered in good shape and packaged well. It worked as expected without any problems. I use several monitors for video production and this was an excellent solution to bringing external power to the monitor without having to use the heavy NPF batteries. It also features a pass through DC connection on the back of the dummy battery. This allows you to power another item simultaneously as long as you are getting your main power through the Dtap connector. Simple product to use and it works great!

the price is right, its light and more portable then a v batery charger, great when you traveling with your gear at a budget.

When you need to power your NP-F battery-powered lights for a longer period than your NP-F batteries will last, this D-tap dummy-battery adapter is what you need. It will plug directly into the larger capacity V-mount battery with D-tap or an equivalent power source that has a D-tap connector.I plan on adapting it to a battery larger than a V-mount for even longer run times.Well made dummy battery with two input ports to power your device: you can use either the D-tap at the end of the cord or the DC port on the back of the dummy battery which takes a DC port barrel connector with a 5.5 mm outer sleeve diameter and a 2.1 mm inner sleeve diameter. If you're powering your device using the D-tap, the DC port will also serve as an output port giving you 7.4 V to power another device.
