This battery performs as goog as the original. So far no issues. Recommended. I am going to pbuy another one.

This battery came partially (70%?) charged, which was very good considering the factory battery with the camera was totally empty. This battery theoretically has the same capacity but it lasts longer. Never failed me, doesn't get more than slightly warm while charging and well worth the money. Fit camera and charger perfectly. My congratulations to the manufacturer. Go ahead and buy it!!

This looks like a good working backup for my original G7X Mark II OEM battery.Right out of the box, I inserted into the Canon battery charger that came with my camera; charging light came on orange (charging), and after a few minutes, it turned green (fully charged). No issues charging this battery.Inserted the battery into my G7X Mark II, powered up the camera. It turned on as usual; no beeps, no battery "fake" or other error warning of any kind, nothing. Camera showed on display a fully charged battery. Camera functionality with this or the original Canon battery is identical.Have taken photos, no problems of any kind with camera, e.g., shutting down or displaying camera warnings. Zilch!See photos attached. Very satisfied with how this battery performs thus far. Might as well put the "Canon" name on it.
