YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED TRUST ME! All ds18 products are built to last and sounds amazing! I got these for my 2011 dodge ram 1500 crew cab (dash speakers and boy oh boy the quality is perfect! ) they are built to last and work well! Sound is crisp and clear! Don’t be a fool and pass this up!

They are definitely better than the dried up stock speakers that no longer even had the rubber surround. But, they blew pretty fast on my head unit putting out a while 35 watts. If you don’t plan to listen to them loud, they are fine.

These are good sounding component speakers, but they aren't perfect, first, they are limited in their mounting ability in some cars due to their standard 4 screw layout, some vehicle's require more versatile mounting options than these provide(check your factory mounting locations before purchase to make sure they will fit). Secondly, the screw terminals on the crossovers are way over tightened and almost feel like they will break when you attempt to wire up your drivers to it, and 3rd, they have relatively limited power handling, especially in the 60-120hz ranges where if you over drive them just a little, they will distort. I have them xovered with my subs at 80 hz, and find I have to lower the output at 80-120hz on these if I drive them to moderately loud volumes. If they handled a little bit more power in the lower octaves I would probably give them a 5 for sound quality, and their lack of offset mounting options limits their usefulness in some vehicles lowering their ease of install rating....that said, they are reasonably priced for what they are.
