bought this to replace a slip on spout from another company that came with a kit. this is the only way to go! updated hardware in wall to have a 90 copper fitting to screw into and this was a success. o leaks when change from tub to shower at the cooper fitting. the spout does drip a little but of no concerns if you are showering. never use a slip on spout, the design is garbage. need to use something like this product with a scree on connector

After the divert thing on my faucet fell off for probably the hundredth time I decided it might be time to replace it. This was exactly what I needed and the matte black is pretty slick looking, even if it doesn't match the rest of my hardware... yet. I also got the matching piece to put behind it just to snaz it up a bit.It went on easily, though if you also get the other piece keep in mind that it's going to take up a small space between the faucet and the wall, and there isn't often space to spare. The last half turn in putting the new faucet on required a bit more force than I wanted to use.So far there's no leakage, the water flows the same as it did before, and without the other piece it would have fit absolutely perfectly.I'm not sure why Amazon is suggesting I mention noise level? It sounds like water gushing out of a pipe. I don't think a faucet like this is going to change that.Also, in my search I noticed a lot of reviewers for these faucets don't seem to realize that there are two different types, so keep that in mind both when seeing reviews and choosing your faucet. A quick google search will explain this.

Honestly I can’t believe how will this has held up. I for sure thought it was a risky purchase. My hubby does not like to mess around with water as it can do a lot of damage but it’s been on almost a year maybe not that long And it’s awesome!

Took less than a minute to install.I am pleased with the quality for the price.The matte black finish is nice. Rubbed bronze looked nice, too. But I went with black since it could be delivered the following day.Was delivered the morning after I ordered it. Same day would've been great, but I'm sure there are many factors at play for same day delivery.Will one be able to replace the diverter if/when it may fail in the future?? No idea.It may be more convenient to replace the entire spout like I did.My local H0me Dep0t didn't have any threaded tub spouts (4" IPS), so it was Amazon to the rescue (again!!).Would definitely purchase again! (In black or rubbed bronze)It perfectly suits my needs for my home.

We bought a spigot that was meant for copper pipe water lines. So we bought this one quick. It installed easy with no leaks and looks good.
