I used it in my dremel to engrave a name, small sized, on metal. It turned out great!

There were supposedly to be six rolls of these rolls and there was one.I had a project I was working on and needed 6 rolls. Very disappointed.

I only received one roll, be aware that you will not receive the various six that are advertised in the picture.

I have a CNC machine that I've been using to do several engravings (maybe I'll post a video of this in action) and was struggling with the set of engraving bits I bought specifically for a dremel. It was a kit of engraving bits that I also got on Amazon so I thought that was really all I needed and boy was I wrong. I thought maybe my dremel wasn't powerful enough to do the engravings since the results I was getting with the first set of engraving bits were turning out jagged and not very clean. It also wasn't cutting very deep into the metal, so when the machine was moving it would get caught on spots and I could see the bits bending. Not good. I was afraid they were going to break, but they didn't. They didn't really work well either. So I thought well, maybe these bits aren't intended for hard metals (even though they should have worked with hard metals, or maybe I just didn't look into it enough) so I ended up finding the Dremel 9929 Engraver Diamond Point Bit. From the second I put this on the dremel my results were 1000x better! I was getting very clean precision engravings in some pretty hard metal. Not sure exactly what the metal was, but I was engraving a tactical combat knife so it had to be some pretty hard metal and it engraved like a champ! I haven't engraved too much stuff, but it has already been miles better than any other engraving bit I've tried (I'm a newb to engraving though). Anyone doing some simple CNC machining with a dremel, this bit is a must. Next I want to try glass and stone. We'll see how that goes...
