I had never before shucked oysters but watched a few YouTube videos and decided to give it a try. I read the reviews of several oyster shucking knives on Amazon and purchased this one. It has a solid feel in your hand and was easy to use. I already owned kitchen gloves (I used of my large mandolin) and with this knife I shucked 3 dozen oysters for our gathering. Definitely recommend!

The pointed blade made all the difference and in stark contrast to rounded blades this knife was popping open oysters with little effort. Sturdy. Excellent quality.

Small, compact, and somewhat sharp. Good to add to your tool set to get those tasty morsels from within the shell. Usually I see people use those sharpened spoons, which I do own myself, but it is good to have something other than a spoon. I also find this more comfortable than using a sharpened spoon. I would recommend this for people that go scalloping.

My knife makes opening oyster a snap. All the goodness of the seafood bar at a fraction of the cost.

Go shuck! This is first time I used an oyster knife in my life, I knew that’s eventually snap in half. The knife got an sturdy, non-slip handle that fits comfortably in my hand, and sturdy blade with a point at the tips. Just an amazing tool to pops the shell open easily, and it particular well-suited for oyster that are midsize and larger oyster.
