Io sono violinista, e da anni suo queste corde, per me sono il giusto compromesso tra qualità e resistenza.

I've used Thomastik Titanium Solo violin strings, for almost 6 years. I play violin everyday for approx 4+ hours either solo performing or practicing. I change these strings approx every 3 months because over time they lose their brightness and resonance. But unlike other strings I've used, these do not unravel nor do they appear to physically deteriorate. After 4 months they still look as good as new. Only the sound quality has deteriorated and I only notice this when playing classical repertoire in higher fingerboard positions. Sympathetic resonance, tonal colour, and dynamics are very important in classical repertoire, and therefore strings of any make do have to be replaced at regular intervals. However, in my experience, Thomastik Vision Titanium Solo strings require to be replaced less frequently, and they require very little tuning adjustment unless playing in very different climate environments. There is little noticeable difference when playing traditional Scottish fiddle music because it is played mostly in finger position violin 1st position.Once settled in, these strings last longer than others that I've used. They project sound really well and therefore well suited to solo public performance. They are bright but warm.My Violin has a rich full bodied sound, but these strings, along with my classical violin technique which I have developed over many years, work together to produce the most beautiful sound regardless of the music genre that I play.I am primarily a classical solo violinist but also play a very broad repertoire that includes traditional Scottish & Irish fiddle music, and also baroque, klezmer, and pop.I love the rich, full sound, and dynamic range that these strings produce across all genres of music. These strings really do 'sing'. Listeners often comment about the beautiful tone. Unequivocally, these strings are a major contributing factor to producing an amazing sound! These strings are not cheap but they last longer and produce a much richer sound than others that I've used. The sound from other strings sounds flattened compared to these Titanium Vision Solo Strings. As recommended by luthiers, when I replace my strings I always scrape some pencil graphite into the nut and bridge grooves which acts as a lubricant that helps the strings slide freely over the nut and bridge when being adjusted, and therefore considerably reduces the risk of the strings snapping (breaking).
