Ive used Ernie ball slinky’s , Dean Marley blue steel, all good when I put them on. But after a while of playing my fingers felt really sore and the strings rough.So after some research I tried these DR nickel strings and Wow what a difference in the feel.The lower strings feel really smooth and totally opposite. So far so good, but I think I found my strings of choice.

DR Pure Blues are simply put, THE string to rule them all.Round-core, so they're very flexible and pliant, so much easier on your hands and responsive to dynamics. You won't end up with messed up hands from overly stiff strings after a 2 hour gigThe nickel formula used here is the most resilient I've used on any string, they hold their tone (for me anyway) for 10-12 gigs, then dying off into a still very usable, but less harmonic sound.Tonally, they're warm but with a detailed and refined edge that other nickels don't have. No harshness to be found anywhere here, but at the same time, not quite the usual, treble shy, nickel sound.I've used every brand under the sun, every gauge, every metal type, every core type, and these are by far and away the best. Why buy crap like Rotosound, which die after 3 hours and eat your frets, or Slinkies which are still the only strings I've ever broke and also are tonally dead within 3-5 hours, when you can have these?

Me gusto mucho su sonido, la razón de 4 estrellas es por que me duraron muy poco, la primera cuerda se me rompió a la semana y luego paso lo mismo con el otro juego de cuerdas que compre, no se si ya eran viejas por que no viene sellado como otros paquetes al vacío, pero muy bien sonido.

Mas que su contraparte de guitarras, me interesaban bastante las pure blues de bajo y la verdad que no me decepsionaron para nada, el sonido es excelente bastante brillante comparado casi con cuerdas de acero inoxidable pero no lastiman tanto para tocar como esas ya que estas son de niquel.Me encanta el sonido, me encanta la suavidad y las recomiendo al 100%
