I only needed a tube with the raised flange as this has. The problem with this fuel repair tube is the flange is too tall and too wide. If you put it in the fuel line female half, it would fit so tight you may never get it out again.

Although Amazon never got this delivered, I was forced to purchase the same type of Dorman fuel line at a higher price. After delivery failed, I went to four local parts stores with a dial caliper after returning one I had purchased at NAPA. All measured the same, which was .007 (.382”) to large. I ended up purchasing another one knowing this, and took the .007 off the outside diameter to make it fit. The center diameter measurement was 3/8” (.375”). This must happen during the flaring operation. No excuse for this.

This is a great help for either splicing a leak in the middle of a fuel line, where you would put two fuel connectors on each end these have a little bobbin or circular bump around it what are used it for is to connect to my fuel filter, and it was just great I had made a strong little jumper coming out of the fuel filter via compression fittings and I was able to run a new three eights fuel line, but the really thick rubber tape with the mesh inside of it that type of fuel line but you’re able to stick the connectors or the fuel pump right into it and use the hose clamps and it snaps right on the fuel pump well least do the same now what I did is a cut the piece off of it so that I had about 3 inches for the end so then when my fuel line was going in my fuel filter, it just pushed and it got over though it was a bump and click trade in and it’s been great ever cents so there’s a lot of tasks you can use this for as long as you’re using the push on snap on type fuel line pole plugs

Was cheaper to buy this and the other line I needed than buying the set of 2.
