Products are verified if they can withstand a close-range high-pressure liquid spray from 4 angles (pressure of 80-100 bars and a temperature of 176°F). The HANDSFREE SQUARE is not waterproof.*
  • CORRECTIONS: This e-collar has two different correction types. The first correction type is a Nick (quick ½-second) and the second correction type is a Constant correction (up to 12 seconds). Very pleased with this set ! It’s proven itself useful training the 2 younger pups. The collar can be cut to size, & it comes with plenty of length. The battery life is sufficient i’ve used mine for several days for several hours without it needing a charge. If you plug it in every night, you really have nothing to worry about. 3/4 are Dogo Argentino Pits & 1/4 is a Pit Terrier - large & XL dogs very stubborn breed the collars & one remote worked so well & it’s really convenient that i don’t have to toggle between the two collars, orange button goes to orange collar & same with the black button/collar. i’ll be needing another set for my other two. The price point is steep, so i’m saving for it since i have yet to be disappointed. Honest review since i know these reviews are super helpful when searching for effective training accessories especially at this price point!

The use manual was simple and efficient. The quality of the collars and control unit is good. If not for the expensive price tag, I would have given this product 5 stars.

I'm reviewing this after owning the 2-dog set for 6 months. They worked flawlessly ... until one didn't. One started randomly turning off for no reason (yes even fully charged) . Sometimes only 2/3 minutes after ensuring it was on and putting it on the dog. The first couple of times it tripped me up because I was thinking it was user error and I had forgotten to turn it on completely or test it but nope .... it's the collar. I'll turn it on, check it after a few minutes , turn it on again, check it again , it's off again ... repeat . That collar is completely useless now because it can't be trusted . Which is wild to me because I had a super cheap (I'm talking like $50 cheap) ecollar pair that worked just fine for TWO YEARS before I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to Dogtra for my boys. Jokes on me, it wasn't an upgrade at all other than the price tag.

Our trainer recommended these--and they are our second set. Our first set stopped working after a couple of years. We have 2 big poodles (Max: 75 lbs and Chloe: 55 lbs) who do not even mind wearing them because they know that they can control the collars by behaving. Chloe is a bolter; when she gets out--chasing rabbits--the only thing that will get her in RIGHT AWAY is this. We also use it for nuisance barking and jumping up on guests when they arrive. I highly recommend them.

If you live in Canada and are thinking of buying Dogtra, don't do it.1902s two dog system purchased & 1 of the 2 collars were defective out of the box (no battery life) dies even without use while the 2nd collar goes all day and still green. This issue has been reported in many other reviews for their add-on collars or 2 dog systems, best guess is QC is severely lacking.Contacted Dogtra support to troubleshoot & they agreed it was defective and was told they don't service Canada and there was nothing they can do about it, stuck returning to Amazon instead of getting a replacement collar or battery for this paperweight.
