I have two ethernet-based computers sitting side by side. If I can use a splitter and have only one line near the two, that would be ideal. But only, only if the data transfer had no degradation or a slow-down in data transfer. One of my computers has very little RAM while the other is loaded up with RAM. I tested the performance both ways, separate lines to each and then again with the splitter.You plug the USB into the back of one of the computers for power, and walla, you have service on two computers using only one cable. How genius is that?

I like that it worked splitting one Ethernet connection into two. The user guide was written in badly translated English but the product was very easy to install.

As far as I can tell, this TIZOPO Ethernet Splitter is just a three-port switch. In fact, I’m not sure that an Ethernet splitter is really a thing. That said, this device does what it claims, and does it quite well.I had a similar two-port switch connected to my T-Mobile gateway, because it inexplicably has only two built-in ports, and I needed three. Well, now I need four, so I ordered this three-port TIZOPO switch to give me four ports overall.In use, it becomes only slightly warm, which is a good thing. Running a typical internet speed test shows that nothing is being lost when compared with a direct connection to the T-Mobile gateway. I would have preferred detachable cables, but I knew that not to be the case when I placed the order, so no points deducted for that. Hookup was simple, and it’s working just as well as the one it replaced, so five stars.
