I have gotten several of these fabric storage containers through the Amazon Vine program and I must say that I love them. I sew and I am a quilter and to be able to keep projects and their instructions (if needed) in their own container while working on them is wonderful. While many quilts are made with 12" square block finished so they would need a 13" square container, my favorite block size to work with is an 8" square finished block so the 11" square block is perfect for any block size up to 10" finished square blocks. For those that are unfamiliar with quilt blocks, before being put together, most blocks have a 1/4" seam allowance, so that before putting a block into a quilt, it will generally be 8 1/2", 9 1/2", 10 1/2" and so on for square blocks. The only thing that I don't like about these containers is the fact that they don't come with lids of any sort. When working with fabric it is important to keep it free of dirt and dust as well as sunlight (which can fade quilt fabric like crazy!), so that would be a great addition whether to add them into the package or sell lids separately, such as three or four at a time. At this point I could also use one of the shelving type systems for these sorts of containers that I have seen available in many different styles. However, that will have to wait at this point.Of note with this particular container. In my mind rust is a reddish/orange/brownish color, that looks, well like, rust. This container looks to me red. Red like fire-engine red. Since I never have a color choice when getting something from this program, I don't care and if I had the ability to choose, I would have picked red anyhow, so I got what I wanted!!!! Just if you decorate with truly rust color items and you get this to go with your room, it might not be the correct color that you are looking for.
