I found the item to be a good piece of equipment.However the one I purchased had a problem with the drive that after processing a few rolls sounded like gears crunching and jerking the reel so I had to send it backs.If it had not have had that problem I would have been extremely happy with it.

Following the instructions the films came out extremely choppy, to the point you couldn’t even watch the resulting file. It also ruined the thread on some of the film.Very unhappy with the product.

Works well but a bit slow at 2 frames per second. About 30 mins for 2 minute film. Recorded video is then replayed at 20 fps which is a little fast for the old standard 8. (normally 16 fps). Overall it does a reasonable job at reasonable price. Just need to set aside a fair bit of time if you have a lot of family film to transfer.
