If you like the way it looks in the pictures, you'll like it. No complaints about the quality whatsoever - the leather is thick and doesn't feel plastic-y at all. The buckle has a nice shine that's right in between matte and chrome, and the stitching is pretty simple and handsome.

Sturdy leather belt. Just perfect with my jeans. I’m totally happy with this belt.

I've had this belt for about six months. Very happy with it initially, but now the leather is proving less than durable with the belt hole stretching out. I'll be surprised if it makes it through a full year...unless I manage to lose enough weight to drop down a notch to a "new" hole to wear out. The price should have been the tip off...I was shocked to see how expensive belts have become and thought the price of this one much more reasonable. But, you get what you pay for. Just put an order in for a Duluth Trading work belt for closer to $40 and will see how that one wears.

This belt is the correct size for what I ordered, but I ordered a bigger size, because some of the reviewers said the sizes run small. I wear a 36" waist pant, so I ordered a 40" belt (figuring it would be 38"), and I am using the first (smallest length) hole which sometimes is too loose. There are 5 holes, and the measurement from the buckle to the middle hole is 40", which is how it's supposed to be. So I am using the 38" hole, and it's a little loose. The last hole is 42", plenty of room for growth :-). So I should have ordered a 38" belt for my 36" pants, then the range would be 36" to 40".The reason I gave it 4 stars is the width and thickness. This may be a good thing, that is, it's tough, but trying to stuff the excess back into the first pant loop is difficult, and it's a little hard to thread through the belt loops due to width. The stiffness should go away after it breaks in.Bottom line, get the right size, they are sized correctly. I actually have (I just measured!) a 38" waist and I stretch my 36" pants, so if I ordered a 36" belt, I would probably be using it around the 37-38" range (38" would be max), and think it was too small.I would recommend this to a friend, overall it's good, IMHO.*******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************EDIT 3-15-14:When I made my above measurements, I measured from the end of the leather at the buckle to the holes. This would not be an accurate measurement of the size when used, as the hook holds the belt hole at the outside end of the buckle, adding 1.5" to the length. Therefore, a 40" belt hooked at the middle hole, is actually 41.5". So the size 40 belt has an actual size range of 39.5-43.5 inches. The max on a size 36 belt would be 39.5"I bought another belt, this time a 38" and it is exactly 2" shorter, so the middle hole is 39.5 inches. I am wearing this belt now with my 36" waist jeans and I have it in the middle hole, and it is comfortable. Size range on this (size 38) belt is 37.5-41.5 inches.

Don't know why people think they should buy this one size larger than what they normally wear. Just get your normal size belt. I stupidly listened to some peoples' suggestions here and now have a belt that's a few inches too big. Luckily it's so cheap, I decided to just keep it in case I ever get really fat. Also, have to mention, maybe it's just my imagination, but it kinda makes a squeeky, rubbery noise in hot weather, so I took a star off for that.
