My daughter forgot the password that she entered… the instructions say to shine a torch (?) or a flashlight to line up the grooves. The 3 numbers with grooves is your password .We have found a ton of grooves between each number, but they don’t seem to differ between numbers - so we can’t open the journal - it’s never been used.Other than that, my daughter loves all the materials and the idea of the journal.. can someone help?

I purchased for my 12 yr old daughter and she was so excited opening this box… she loved all of the accessories that came with it as well… SIL also loved that there was no key to loose! The outside box was also pretty so you could get away without wrapping. I also purchased a different print for my 13 yr old niece… same reaction! This will be our new go to gift for friends birthdays!

I wanted to get my 11-year-old niece a journal with a lock, but found so many of the available options felt too “young” for her. This gift set is perfect because it is both pretty and also has a teen-like sophistication to it. The diary itself has a pretty secure combination lock the user can set herself/himself. The pages are thick & lined with a space for the date at the top of each page. The diary itself is a pretty purple/pink/gold marble effect and is made of a plastic with a soft puffy/pillow effect. The paper does not appear to be refillable once the diary is filled, which is fine with me. I just wanted to mention it in case this is something you are seeking. There is also a pen, bracelet, bookmark, pencil/pen case enclosed inside a pretty gift box that is the same design as the diary cover. The entire set is a great gift for any young girl and provides a fantastic value ($20 at the time of writing this review + a 30% off coupon available). Highly recommend!!!
