I use this to cut up pallet wood with nails still in it. Works fine, but even though it's for demolition, some nails can still cause some damage to the teeth. I would not use it if you ever expect to encounter a construction screw. 4 stars for getting through some 2-star pallet wood!

This blade is the absolute bomb!💣I’ve really been wanting a demo blade for my Festool saws badly for the past few years because I deal a lot with reclaimed lumber. I wrote Festool but they ignored me 🥺😭😭😭😜. I got this one and it’s closest to the 168mm blade of my Festool TSV60 so I proceeded to enlarge the arbor, and used it on that ! It cuts absolutely beautifully ,and ,like many here stated ,gives a surprisingly smooth finish for a framing blade .As you can see by the pics, I tested it out on the more unlikely situation of “ripping” screws or nails instead of cross cutting them …which in general should put somewhat more strain on the blade…it whisked through them like a hot katana through whipped cream!Absolutely incredible get one or even a few asap…and the price for this kind of quality and performance is outstanding as always with Diablo/Freud! Thank you guys n gals!!!!💪🏻👍🏿🙏🏻🤠❤️😘🌕🌹

I've had this blade in my cordless for quite some time. It cuts reasonably smoothly for not being a finish blade, and it lives up to its demo promise. I'm accustomed to blades hitting that hidden nail and then cutting badly. This blade sails right through and still cuts well. Durable. Also, the very thin kerf makes cutting easy and prolongs battery life.Highly recommended.

This is my second purchase of the 6 1/2-inch DEMO blade. I'd probably still on the first one, had I not made the mistake of cutting 'cement board' with it. DUH! I cut hundreds of board feet using the first one on my Makita 18-volt saw, and it just kept going! Don't know how many nails I hit (accidentally), but it didn't seem to affect the sharpness to any noticeable degree. IMO these little blades are a bargain and I'll always have one on my little saw.
