Got these on one of Amazon's flash deals..Was a bit concerned reading reviews of people getting "new old stock" batteries made years ago, but I thought I'd take a chance and got genuine Dewalt batteries, Feb 2025 mfg date. Charged and tested them on my balance charger and they have full capacity and work fine.

Really good battery, this has the bigger/better 21700 cells which provide a higher discharge rate. I'll only buy batterys with those cells from now on, 4ah compact, the 6ah, 9ah FV & 12ah FV, I believe are all 21700 cell batteries. 1st test was on my sawzall, noticable difference in power compared to the 5ah. But it's a trade off, more power with the higher discharge rate, battery doesn't last as long. Have one at work to use on the 923 & 900, woke the 923 right up. It has its place in the tool collection though, sander, osolatting tool, jigsaw, probably not a big difference. We're spoiled now, not only do we have the right cordless tool for the job, but now we can match up the right battery for the job, power or run time. Planning on buying more as my 5ah's die off.

Good pricing for 4ah batteries, packaging was in great and original shape and delivered the day it was supposed to be
