Worked great drilling holes in approx 3/16 hard steel on a tractor implement. I did drill a 3/8 pilot hole first then drilled two holes easily using oil to keep things cool. I think I could probably get maybe two more before it's too dull to cut but I think that's to be expected for a bit at this price.

Al comprarlo especificaba que es de vástago reducido de 3/8 de pulgada, cuando en realidad es de 1/2 pulgada.

Make sure you understand the product measurement details. YES it does say 1/8 x 12in Drill Bit, but I was fooled by the "product Information" which has the product dimensions as 37.4 x 4.7 x 0.5Seems that this is the size of the card it is packed on! And not the overall length, drill section and diameter.
