Great paper, there's merit to why people love it so much. I might recommend getting a pencil board because there is show through with my fountain pen ink, but with a dark board I can't see (or get distracted by) what's on the other side of the page.

I love this book: it's size, the smoothness of the paper, even it's slight see-throughness. Drawing tools : pens, pencils, felt tips, etc. all glide on the paper effortlessly. I sue it as a daily sketchbook for quick, dry media sketching.

I am a repeat buyer. These are the absolute best notebooks. I’m a creative director and I fly through these things. Having tried dozens of other notebooks, this is the best one.

Great paper with a minimalist book design. All things considered, you can buy a high quality book for about 10 bucks. It works well with my fountain pens and displays sheening inks well, which was my first impetus for getting a midori md. The ink shadows a little, but it doesn't bleed through. I pair it with a pencil board (aka shitajiki) so I don't dent the page behind.A con I have is that these books usually have wild price fluctuations and are relisted CONSTANTLY, meaning you have to look to see if its the cheapest option, or if the relisted version is cheaper. Generally, when the price drops, I buy a couple more than I think I'll need, cause the price doesn't stay low forever.
