Problem fixed , but disappointed they don’t offer with black screws. My set up doesn’t look right , the black screws are over priced.

Had to get this sin the person that dis my tiles did not get the right measurements. This fit perfectly and works as a whole piece

If your plumbing rough-in is a little deep behind your shower wall (probably due to the thickness of tile/waterproofing/backing board), then you'll want this, and while a bit expensive it's the proper part for the job.The people who renovated my home for sale cheaped out and used some generic extension rod, and left the shower faucet all wobbly. I got this part and replaced it and restored the tight feel a nice Delta shower faucet deserves.

I remodeled my bath room, and after putting on thicker hardi board and thick marble tile my valve was inset a tad bit to far. This kit was almost exactly what I needed. The only issue is when using this kit, the included screws that hold the extension insert in place prohibit the use of a handle that does not tighten with an allen set screw. As the Delta replacement shower fixture required screwing the handle on through the handle into the extension insert, the screws included with the kit were either to long or to short. I couldn't find a stainless steel screw with the same head shape, so I shortened the long screw with a dremel cut off tool. Now it works perfectly. Also Delta support was excellent and was going to send me a handle that would work with the kit for free. The retail on the handle they were going to ship, if bought through amazon is $48.
