It was packed very well, I had concerns when the box was ripped but the styrofoam protected the crib and I love it! It is sturdy and well made and also beautiful! It does not come with the toddler rail but I will buy it when I need it I guess.

Our first kiddo used this crib for 13 months. Our second kiddo is currently 9 months old and we anticipate to use this in crib form until around the same age. We will then transition this crib into a bed (purchased the rails from Delta Children as they were not currently available here on Amazon) for our first born (who will pass the toddler bed onto our little one). After two kids, this thing looks brand new, despite some teeth marks on the front rail. The color is beautiful, it's easy to assemble, disassemble, and put back together again (we've done this quite a few times between kiddos and switching bedrooms and such). It's incredibly sturdy; you can't beat the value. I have friends that spend thousands on cribs that now look like garbage, and I've received so many compliments on how well this crib has held up. I'm so glad we chose it so many years ago, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a simple, elegant, affordable crib for their little one!

At first we only use it for naps and a bassinet for bedtime, but now my son goes to bed in it, although he usually ends up in our bed but that’s a different story! HahaIt’s durable, super easy to assemble, and relatively easy to drop to lower levels. It looks very nice and I haven’t had the issues with chipped paint as others have complained. We plan to convert this into a toddler bed when baby is ready, and I’d buy the same crib for baby #2 as well.

For color it seems like it could end up matching with espresso furniture if you really wanted; it is a slight like 1/2 a shade lighter than espresso but it could work. (We bought the crib before the other pieces to see the color in person.)If you are considering this verses Stork products, please for the sake of quality, buy Delta Children!!!!--The pictures I attached show the crib in 3 different lightings, the first was at night, only the room light on, the second is flash in the morning with blinds slightly open, and the third is no flash with blinds slightly open in the morning; to help get a better feel for the color :)
