Llego en una caja toda rota con sus instructivos en una bolsa, siento que son reparados o algo así, llevo con el producto dos o tres semanas y ya hace un ruido horrible cuando hago que gire el círculo central que es el que direcciona el aire, ese ruido no se escuchaba al inicio, también luego lo apago y esa cosa sigue girando, el precio es como si estuviera nuevo pero no es así, por lo tanto les recomiendo que busquen en otra parte alguno que si sea nuevo.

Compré este aparato pensando en que era de buena marca y valía la pena el costo y aunque funcionó bien los primeros 30 días, después se descompuso la bomba de agua y se volvió un ventilador muy costoso. Lo llevé a garantía y vaya mal servicio, llevan con el aparato 2 semanas y no han sido ni para diagnosticarlo, pésimo producto y peor servicio.

Es como un ventilador normal, no enfria realmente a menos que le pongas agua fria y hielo en su bandeja

Hasta ahora ha sido funcional para CDMX, con agua si enfría un cuarto pequeño aunque no es A/C, tenía miedo de que tirara agua pero hasta ahora todo bien, sin embargo una amiga que lo compró al mismo tiempo si le tiró agua, no tiene mucha fuerza pero es funcional, si lo volvería a comprar.El único detalle es que a veces no funciona la opción de giro automático, no se para cuando le das click al control remoto, por eso le.doy 4 estrellas.

It is humid here I admit so maybe that’s the biggest issue. It didn’t make a dent In the heat. I tried ice and ice packs. The air never felt very cool. We are returning it for sure. It seems well built and is easy to use. It might be that we just can’t feel the difference due to the humidity

This is a great way to cool down your room, HOWEVER take note. It works best with other fans to help circulate the air more and does need some water and ice in the compartment at all times for the best results. If your room feels a bit shticky and wet, that's because this is a swamp cooler that increases humidity by quite a bit. Not to swim through the air levels, but close! Overall its my favorite fan when ive got company over, just be warned you will feel the Moisture Meter hit critical mass.

No esta mal, hecha aire fresco por 1 hora si le pones agua bien pero bien fria. Vivo en Valladolid Yucatan, hace mucho calor, que sopla el viento en vez de sentir fresco sientes como que abrieron un horno. Cuando el clima esta asi, al ponerle agua muy fria y con hielos si sientes la diferencia pero eso dura 1 hora cuando mucho. Es decir, si estas dispuesto a tener 4 litros de agua en el refri para usar 2 litros a la vez y estar cambiando el contener de agua con agua fria esto es para ti, pero no esperes que enfrie el cuarto en esta zona del pais. Hace mucho ruido pero eso me gusta porque trabajo en casa y los vecinos adorables tienen un monton de gallos y siento que este ruido ayuda a cancelar el ruido de afuera.

I use this to cool a small working area in a garage loft. The air temperature coming out is about 8 degrees cooler than the ambient room temperature (measured with a professional Kestrel weather instrument). That means, when the loft is 85 degrees, the air coming out is 77 degrees - and that's a very comfortable difference. At just 60 watts power draw (vastly less power than an air conditioner, which matters since my house is powered by solar PV), this is an economical way to cool a small space like that. It is also easily repositioned on its roller wheels as needed. I found the fan sound is fine and not too loud for my loft area.I live in a high desert area in the inland Pacific Northwest. Summer time temps range typically from upper 70s to mid 90s. Relative humidity is usually 20 to 25% outdoors. I've read some reviews from others saying they live in a dry climate but the unit doesn't work for them - if that's the case, check your INDOOR humidity. In our house, the indoor humidity is often 40-45% while outdoor is running 20%. The humidity makes a huge difference in performance of an evaporative cooler. Coolers like this won't do much at all at 50% or higher humidity. Where I use this swamp cooler - in the garage loft - the RH is around 20-25% and it works just fine.

Vivo en el DF, por lo que realmente la prueba sera en verano, pero tambien ayuda a humidificar la habitacion, puedo subir de 40% hasta 65% en un par de horas sin problema, es buenísimo para algunos problemas de resequedad por contaminacion,No es tan silenciono como mencionan pero falta probarlo en la noche al dormir, lo bueno es que tiene temporizador para que no te moleste toda la noche.muy recomendableActualizacion:Llevon con el mas de 2 años, y en estas epocas de calor esta funcionando 24/7. Siempre con su agua fresca o con hielos para aumentar la frescura, y diria que son aprox unos 5 grados de diferencia (afuera en la calle, a dentro de la casa). Y de noche se queda junto a la ventana aspirando aire fresco lo que ayuda a sentir menos el calor del DF

For the first month, the DeLonghi America Portable Evaporative Cooler seemed to work fine for our space. We had done our homework and found that an evaporative cooler was right for our area and were excited about having a nice cooling fan. However, in the 2nd month we noticed that the fan got weaker and less cool. By the 3rd month the evaporative cooler started to leak on the floor sporadically. We thought that maybe we had overfilled the tank or didn't clean the filters. But after more usages of it we did more of our own troubleshooting through the manual and online help, we started to realized that the DeLonghi evaporative cooler was flat-out a cheap, poorly made product that now continually leaks and can cause property damage.So we reached out to DeLonghi customer support because we have a 1-year warranty on the product. We tried calling their customer hotline several days in a row, but received no answer and weren't able to report the issue. So we reached out by email asking for troubleshooting help or a return & refund. It took 1-2 weeks for them to follow up with us. They now says that we are not able to return the evaporative cooler because we have to schedule a 'technical support' call before we can return it. Amazon will not allow us to return it because it's beyond a couple month period since we made the purchase.We're taking next steps with DeLonghi on this issue. But the leaking defective product, the tardy customer support, and the failure to promptly respect a 1-year warranty policy makes this product a liability for us to keep and communicates to me that this product is another nice-looking product listed on Amazon with false good assurance of value and support that turns out to be overpriced junk.

The fan is no stronger than my small retro Vornado fan. It has a plastic odor to it even when not running and the cooling is maybe 1 degree in an 84-degree small apartment. Given how giant it is, it is too weak for a living room. I wouldn't call it portable.
