I'm still a bit undecided, but you don't have time to actually try things out, on Vine, so I need to review it. There are multiple points: heat, features, safety, overall.Heat- heats great! I haven't taken it all the way up, but I did take it to 78F, and it was super hot.Features- it has a remote control, which works perfectly. All functions are available on the remote. There are multiple settings: heat low, heat high, fan, energy efficient.Safety- there are a lot of safety mechanisms built in. It immediately shuts off if touched or moved. It also shuts off while heating, when it gets too warm (is my guess) or maybe it was because it hit the set temperature. Not sure- it does it a lot.Overall- that's where I'm on the fence. Reading the instructions, it said do not plug into a surge protector- plug it straight into a wall. Ok. But then it also says don't use an outlet with another appliance plugged in. Ok...I'm running out of options, now. Sure, I could put it way over there in that corner, away from everything else, but then what's the point? I want a heater by my feet. So I tried having it in my office, and I have one of those multiple sockets socket plug which my computer is plugged into. It worked, when I first got it, but then stopped. Then, I plugged it straight into the wall, but I have a mini fridge also plugged into that wall- we're talking usability here. It worked. Sometimes. I'm still using it in that outlet, but I never know when it's going to work. It turns off ALL THE TIME! Touch it, bump it- oh boy, it's off for like 30 minutes. And then, another point that leads to safety- it randomly turns off while it's running and stays off for a very long time. Don't know the reason for that- maybe it turns off when it gets too hot, but it stays off for a long time, so long, you might forget. And guess what, it will turn back on! My husband told me, after one day I entered my office and it was nice and toasty warm, and the heater was on, and I asked him if he turned the heater on, surprised that he would have, and he told me no, it just comes on- he's had to turn it off a few times. So, I unplug it, which is what they advise. But I'm like- come on! You have to jump through all these hoops to get a freaking heater to work!?So, depending on your outlet situation, this could be a non-issue for you, maybe you have an unemployed outlet within 4 feet of where you want the heater to be. When it works, it's great. I'm mostly frustrated with all the times it doesn't.

DeLonghi, a popular name brand for many different heaters and appliances. They are not the most expensive high end appliances but always reasonably priced, quality and practical. This small heater (23" x 6" x 7.7") gives out immediate and powerful heat once turned on. You can change and set the heat low or high (on the heater or with the included remote) up or down by one degree steps and it has an eco mode that changes the setting itself to help you feel comfortable but use less energy. It can oscillate and with the safety feature of turning itself off if the base is off the ground by lifting it up or being tipped over. And it looks modern and really nice. It's probably not enough for the whole house or very large rooms but more than capable to warm up an average or small room (excellent for bedroom due to its quietness during operation). Generally, ceramic heaters can provide instant heat, are efficient to operate and pretty reliable and long lasting. You will be pleased with the look, the function and the amount of heat this pretty thing provides. I am enjoying this oscillating heater and I like it a lot.

Over the years we have had several different types of space heaters and this is, by far, the most functional and seemingly usable year round. By that I mean all other heaters were just that - heaters. This one also has the ability to be a fan without heating. Neat! The device itself is relatively compact and sturdy with an amply long power cord. The unit heats up quickly delivering a nice flow of warm air. The unit is quiet and heats/disperses heat evenly. There is also a remote control so you can adjust the oscillation and/or temp from your seat or from bed! There is a little cubby hole on the back of the fan to store the remote which is super helpful! The design is sleek and intuitive and looks really nice. The white part is sort of flecked and I wonder if this is a result of using recycled materials? In any event, it looks nice. There are several safety features built-in to the device which gives us peace of mind.. these features include overheating protection, tip-over shut off, etc. Please read the description/information packet for all safety features and their uses/limitations.

I absolutely love this product and I use it every single night to heat my bedroom and cut down on gas heating costs. This heaters best feature is that it has a built in thermometer that allows it to heat the room to a specific temperature, it goes as low as 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It also comes with a very convenient remote that is easy to understand and can control every feature of the heater. The heater can oscilate to spread the heat evenly across a room and prevent cold spots. There is an eco setting that will adjust the fan speed and heat to be more economical, and it works great! There is also a purely fan mode setting that makes it useful even on a summer day to keep air flow in a room. Another great feature is that if the heater falls over it will turn off automatically, so you don't have to worry about it falling over and potentially causing a fire. Overall, this is the best electric heater I have ever owned and I highly reccomend it!

I have another DeLonghi tower heater that has been going strong for several years now during the winter seasons. I am familiar with the quality of this brand and chose them again for my most recent needs. I bought this to supplement the other tower on cold winter mornings in our kitchen. It works well, as expected, and puts out as much heat as its older counterpart though its build is quite lightweight in comparison. The tip over safety feature works perfectly and will shut off the unit when knocked over or tilted in any way. The super lightweight aspect might be an issue if you have dogs as it would seem to tip over easily if bumped by a pet. On the other hand, because it is such a light unit picking it up and moving it is a breeze. As you can see the heating element is a bit smaller in comparison to the other but the heat output seems about even... maybe more advanced technology is the reason? The layout of the controls is intuitive and actually easier to manipulate than the older model seen in the picture. The unit heats a small space nicely, is quiet and attractive in design. All reasons why I chose a DeLonghi heater once again.
