I used these for tapping about 10 wires on a motorcycle. These are nice because you can make test leads to test your taps, and you can remove your taps which can be very convenient.They are a little bulky compared to the inline taps. I am not great at crimping and probably ruined more of the side-taps than I successfully crimped.You have to be careful inserting the side tap into the body of the connector-the metal tap will not be centred in the boot.
