I Ordered the Absolutely Insane DEERC Amphibious Remote Control Car for Kids for the Grandchildren to Play with when they visit. While the DEERC Amphibious Remote Control Car is advertised as a Gift for Boys & Girls in the 5-12 Year Range, I would Suggest 11-16 Years Plus, Controlling the Car is Very Erratic in Operation and Difficult to Control by the Young Hands of 7 Through 11 Year Old's. I am sure that DEERC Intentionally Built the Erratic Behavior of the RC Car for the Pure Fun Factor... It is Very Exciting!While the Absolutely Insane Radio Controlled Portable Mini RC Car with its 360° Spin, All-Terrain Tires, & Waterproof Design Wasn't really a Perfect Toy for our Younger Grandchildren, it is a Real Hoot to Drive for the Rest of Us!! The Included Car Batteries Did Not Disappoint, Run Times are Excellent for such a Small RC Car. The DEERC RC Car Set Included Two Sets of Batteries, Tires, The 2.4GHz 4WD Stunt RC Truck, Radio Controller, & Tools. Just add Three "AAA" Batteries for the Controller, Charge the Included Car Batteries, & Go. We have no Intension to run the DEERC in Water, We do run it on Wet Ground, it is nice to know that the Electronics are Safely out of the Way in Their Water Proof Compartments.For the Older Children I gave the DEERC Portable Mini RC Car a Full Five Stars Across the Board. The RC Car is Durable, Easy to Use, Reliable, and a Lot of Fun to Play With to Name a Few of them.

This is a really cool remote control car, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is for 2 reasons.1. Once the batteries go, the item goes. The supplied batteries are incredibly custom, so you will only be able to get replacements from the manufacturer.2. I don't like the way they designed the remote. The analog sticks aren't actually analog sticks, they are buttons in disguise. What do I mean by this, with buttons, you can't really apply different amounts of pressure to get different results; with buttons, it's about timing the key press but with a true analog stick, you can change the amount of pressure. So, it's like having a 100mph car that always goes 100mph either forward or backwards, you can't get it to go 50mph by gently applying pressure. So when it turns, you can't gently turn it (because it's not an analog stick, it's a button that gets pressed by a stick); you have to let go of the button quickly to not preform the action as long because you cannot apply gentle pressure to get it to gently turn. It would have been better with the standard floating sticks you see on remote control cars.It is very cool car though. It's omni directional but it doesn't have an omni directional control; it has button that will take in the direction marked on the button. That being said, it's hard to control/steer. I got this to play with my cats and ferrets and I end up just running over them, a lot. And this thing goes pretty quick, it zooms off (can't change pressure); so it darts into everything.Comes with the car, 2 batteries for the car (twice the fun), the remote control (which requires 3 triple a batteries, sold separately), a charger, 2 sets of wheels (an omni directional set and a standard set), a small screw driver (to change out the wheels), and instructions.

So, I got this after seeing clips on a certain clock-based social media site of dogs chasing an RC car. and true to form, my puppers LOVED having a tiny critter to chase around the yard.Unfortunately, from a functional standpoint there's much to be desired. While it's listed as "all terrain", it struggled in my (admittedly bumpy) yard. The photos show it being able to work while flipped over but that's just not the case. And while it's zippy enough for just zinging around for fun, my shepherd caught it with minimal effort.. and proceeded to rip the tires off.Side note: Very cool tires! Because of how it's built, the car can actually "strafe" in all 8 d-pad directions without having to turn. You CAN turn, and it'll spin in place if you want, but it will also just randomly change vector. On a flat surface it would be really cool. Also, there is a "demo mode" that, again, would be super neat on concrete but didn't work great on grass.Overall, i'll look for something faster for my pups, but for young kids it would be a great fit.

I recently bought this amphibious remote control car, and I have to say, it’s been a ton of fun! The omni-directional wheels make it incredibly nimble, allowing the car to move in any direction smoothly without having to turn. What really blew me away is how well it performs both on land and in water. I tested it in a small pond, and it handled the water just as easily as it did on dry ground. It fits perfectly in the palm of my hand, which makes it super portable and easy to bring anywhere. The controls are simple and responsive, and I love that I can use it indoors and outdoors. The battery life is impressive too, lasting through multiple play sessions without needing a recharge. If you're looking for a versatile and fun RC car, this is definitely a great option!
