High quality, It lasted me over 5 years. Hard to transport, I wish it came with a bag.

I love this thing. Seriously one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Traditional mattresses (even extra firm) were leaving me with back and hip pain. I went with this futon based on other reviews and I’m so happy I did. It’s well made, no strange ordors, the straps to tie it up are super helpful, and it’s great that they come in standard US sizes. I’m able to use all of my queen size sheets and bedding with the queen size futon with no problem. Every week or two I take it outside to air it out and then fluff it a little. After 6 months it’s still comfortable and looking great. And my back pain? 100% gone.2-year Update:I’ve used this futon every night for just about two years now and I still love it. The construction has held up super well. No rips or tears anywhere even with moving it around fairly regularly. It’s squished down a bit, which is to be expected, but I continue to fluff as needed and it’s still super comfortable.

I've been sleeping on this for about two months now and it's perfect for what I wanted. I use a thin pad on the floor, then a Klymit double air sleeping pad then this mattress on the floor and it's really helped my back a lot and given me more body mobility by my having to get up from floor level every time I need to get out of bed. I had some physical problems and had lost muscle tone due to healing tendons that had ripped in one hip and this is the perfect solution. My age is 62. I don't think I'll go back to a frame unless I really have to since that requires no body movement to just walk over and sit down on a bed at that height. I think people are made to sleep lower and I like it much better than using a queen frame, plus the room feels so much nicer and uncrowded now. It's in good condition, I roll it up every two weeks or so when I remake the bed. I live alone so I don't need to change the sheets every week anymore, but if I want to that would be a bit better for the mattress. Because of the sleeping pad underneath it never feels flat and that Klymit pad is very thin, but buoyant! I highly recommend this pad. I've rolled it up twice and flipped top to bottom once and it's all good.UPDATE: over six months and I really like it more and more. My only problem with sleeping on the floor was that it was really hard for me to make my bed on my knees so I am trying some other things. I will update with my design solution after it's made and I've tried it for a while. I am thinking 60"x80", 1" ply with rounded corners, over 4 heavy duty wheels should do it. Height is the quandary. 1' is my max and I think it should be more like 10" high. I'll update a last time with an opinion. The mattress still rocks!

so far i like it very much. i purchased a firm foam queen size mattress about 3 months ago. i liked it but for some reason, and because i was having a little lower back discomfort, it felt like something was missing for me. i like a firm but not floor hard feel. after viewing this A&D futon and because it is not too expensive, i decided to put this futon on my foam bed and use as a topper. i like it a lot and it is not too soft, not too hard. please know that i do not use this on the floor and if i did i probably would use a foam mat underneath. also know that i have only had this for one week but i think it is great. i am pleased and glad i gave it a try. especially for the price. i will write another review in about a month to see how i feel about it then. the size is accurate ...60 x 80 x3. no bad smell. no back pain. yes , i would buy it again......,,,, UPDATE: after buying the 3" futon, i later purchased a 4" trillion-fold mattress. put the tri fold on my platform bed and then the 3' FUTON ON TOP AND I LIKE IT VERY MUCH. BETTER THAN MY OTHER FOAM MATRESS. firm but not too hard. comfy.

I have been sleeping on this on the floor for about 4 months so far. It did compress a little bit, but not as much as I was expecting. I put a foam 'egg crate' topper from wal mart on it and that makes it a bit nicer. It is what it is...I mean, you are sleeping on the floor on a mat... but honestly if you prefer sleeping on the floor anyway ( as I do ) I think this mat is a great budget choice. You can easily put a comforter on top to make it even softer, and after you break it in a bit, it rolls up nicely to save space during the day. Beds are such a personal thing, it's hard to really go off someone else's reviews. But as a life long floor sleeper, I would purchase this mat again and i would recommend it.
