A perfect fit for our five-year-old grandson in a size 8! He wore them immediately and the next day too!

It was a great gift for my grandson, but only lasted a few months as my grandson grew out of it. He loved wearing it.

based on reviews, I ordered a size 8 for my slender average height boy for 5th birthday. I wanted it a little larger than usual pj fit in case he wanted to use for halloween, but the bottoms are enormous—absolutely no way for him to wear them for at least 2 years. The top he wears to bed and it's his favorite—it's slim, so fitted enough, but the arms need to be cuffed once and the torso portion is down to about his hips. It is soft, looks good hasn't faded or shrunk over the many washes over the past 2 months. I'd reco ordering usual size or maybe one size up at most.
