I love using the refill method over buying more plastic cups.I just reuse my old cups and it works like a wonder.I like this product over the competitors as it is son easy to use and does a good job.I do like that you can also get it in different fragrances.

Me encantó por su absorbencia y aroma, el grosor de las piedritas es más grande que los que venden otros comerciantes y eso hace que dure mucho más y a mí modo de ver lo hace mucho más absorbente. Me gustó mucho.

We have a beach house that had an obnoxious odor of mildew. Whenever we visited, our clothes would come back home smelling like mildew. Even the cleanest, freshest clothes came back smelly. I ordered some damp rid containers and used them throughout the house. Not only did they remove lots of water from the air, but they made our house smell fresh and clean (without phoney odors) and our clothes are now fresh when we return home-no more mildew smell!I cannot say enough about this wonderful product. We are very pleased with the low cost and the high performance of these crystals. They are easy to use and have replacements, so I am filling up our old containers to use again-no waste!!! Sue

We rent an apartment with vents in the floor. Last year we had a lot of flooding in the area. When I came home I heard a sloshing noise like a washing machine but it was water from our heater trying to be pushed through our vents WHICH WERE FULL OF WATER. I put my hand on one of the vents and I could FEEL little splashes! We didn't end up with indoor flooding but we have a real problem with humidity in our apartment and water-loving pests.I bought some of the small damp rid buckets and put them next to the vents in multiple rooms and in the closets (to prevent our clothes from getting musty). I was shocked at how quickly the buckets near the vents dissolved and the buckets were full of water. I now order these refills and try to change them regularly.I hate stuffy and musty smelling places so this helps ease my mind and pull the moisture away without constantly running a dehumidifier. I just simply empty the buckets into the toilet and refill them. If you have a camper, a basement, or some other place that tends to get dank and musty I would recommend getting damprid.
