These are a solid feel, on-off switches. I really like their simplicity and build quality. The install diagrams on Amazon were fine, but would have preferred some printed instructions/pinouts in the package. Each switch was wrapped for shipping in an individual ziplock bag to prevent any scratching. The LED lighting is quite bright and easy to see, and the switch gives a very positive, confidence-inspiring click-and-stay feel. My only nit-pick is that the flange around the face of the switch is really close in size to the circumference of the screw portion—making it necessary to be VERY precise in cutting your hole. In the end, I got a washer to expand the flange which also provides benefit of more stabilized mount on a flexible mounting surface.

Pretty easy to hook up, instructions are quite good.I use the switch on my motorcycle. The first one fell apart during installation but the second one has worked for 2 years in all sorts of weather conditions, off road vibrations, thousand's of miles without issue.If using with a relay (like I did) do not hook to a full time battery source as the LED's provide a low current path and will evetually drain battery

Colors are nice and bright. Got them tied to relay signals, so low voltage. Hopefully they hold up. Seems like they should.

Not only are these good looking, but the ability to see them with a ring of a choice of 3 colors or no colors is unheard of. Waterproof too! The lighting is just right at night time where it is not overpowering as well.It takes a bit of study to wire them up as there is some unconventionality and I had to change plans to make them work, but the end result is excellent. The change is that the power must go to 2 places: the +ve goes to the switch (for the LED's) and also the +ve or main power goes directly to the end use and the return line comes to the switch and then grounded out from there in a common -ve. It is a bit backwards from norms where the power goes from the switch to the end use and then grounded there. Won't work this way, at least I couldn't figure it out. I had to use a relay in 2 cases to make it work, but that was a good thing regardless.Ya a bit tricky, but I still think overall, these are clearly 5 star. Gorgeous units. Well worth the money. Buy them!

En sí, el interruptor se ve bien hecho, lo malo son las terminales de los cables incluidos que están muy chafas. el material es super delgado y se abren casi solitas.Los usé para los faros auxiliares de mi motocicleta.

I used this switch to operate the courtesy lights for a 1940 vehicle that is wired for Positive earth. The representatives of DaierTek were very responsive and informative in answering questions prior to purchasing. The switch works perfectly with Positive ground vehicles because the LED and Switch portions of the toggle are independent of one another. The Switch is therefore able to be wired to work with positive ground because the Switch is not polarity specific (i.e., the Positive side of the battery can be wired to the ground side of the Switch, and the Negative side of the battery can be wired to the positive side of the Switch). While the LED portion is polarity specific, it is internally separated from the Switch portion of the toggle (i.e., the internal workings of the Switch and LED are independent from one another) so the LED can be wired at the same time using negative earth by running a separate wire directly from the Positive side of the battery to the positive pin for the LED power on the back of the toggle, then completing the circuit by picking up the Negative side of the battery anywhere else in the wiring system (which is not difficult on a Positive ground system). I had previously purchased an intriguing "touch" switch from Ulincos (that also dimmed) but discovered that the wiring (internally) to that switch would not accommodate a Positive ground system (the switch portion could not be wired differently than the LED portion). I am extremely happy with this toggle switch, not only the reasons stated above, but also for the amperage rating for this toggle switch.
