This is okay for what it is, but I didn't find it to be something I would actually use. It has nice quality materials and a good zipper. There is a permanent marker included as a bonus for marking the white label. The plastic holders are just a little too small. They didn't fit a backing board and it was too difficult to fit the comic books in them without damaging them. It only holds 32 comic books and is pretty thick to begin with. I'm also not a fan of the yellow color or the logo on the front, but that is subjective.

The guality is great and so like the sturdy feel. However, the sleeves are very tight, so brittle comics would absolutely be damaged trying to shoe-horn them into the sleeves. The maximum 32 comics would also fittehe decrease space. Great for a basic comic collection but I can't recommend for collectors or folks with valuable editions they want to safety store.

I was very slow at reviewing this because I was very hesitant to decide which comics I would subject to such treatment. (Most all my comics are bagged, back to back, and stored flat in tight stacks for protecting them, and their value). I finally decided that I had a set of close to mint, BUT reading copies of one of my favorites, Sandman. I took all 1-32 of the early issues for testing this product, which were all standard, modern-sized comics, ie the smaller thinner sized. These were all straight out of my shelves, removed from their plastic bags, and readied to put into the album; hence were not "fluffed" at all.I found it VERY hard to put them all in, without damage to the comics; the more I put in, the harder it got to put the rest in. Even from the start the sleeves seemed VERY tight to me, especially putting the second one in the back. And even with inserting the spine first, it was very hard to slide the second comic in the back, as pushing from the non-spine side is even flimsier. Many times I banged the album down to "seat" the second side comic completely into the sleeve. IMHO This would never work for anything thicker than standard modern thin comics. I didn't even attempt to put the first Annual in, which chronologically/story-wise should be in there. Some of the plastic sleeves started splitting as I was putting in the comics; you can see two of them starting to split in the close-up picture. After finally getting all 32 comics inserted, the "book" was really fat and quite difficult to close. I had to mash it fairly flat to get the zipper all the way around, but it DID close, though it looks slightly bulging for setting on a shelf.The "book" itself is very nice, and feels great for holding, and would look good on shelves if something that really fit into it was in it. I'm thinking about now putting some old (small as it was wartime) Meccano mags from the 40's into it, as they will fit, or other smaller manual or such that I'd like to have nicely on the reading room shelf. But IMHO it'd have to be something smaller than a comic, to be able to actually use it for shelving and reading often. The splitting of the sleeves though make it somewhat suspect for using much, as there's no way to easily replace them as they are solidly attached, sewn into the binder.With extreme patience and care it might be used to store some comics, but I found it WAY too tight for actually inserting them without dinging them up, and also WAY too inconvenient for being on the shelf for reading items. I also was somewhat amazed at the price, as there are systems that are MUCH better priced and perhaps more workable here on Amazon.I my opinion this looks and feels nice, it's well stitched and classy, BUT it DOESN'T do what it's supposed to, so is NOT recommended by me.

My comics are finally safe and organized! The binder feels sturdy, and the sleeves keep my collection in pristine condition.
