The colors displayed from a flashlight are nice, but it came with a chip in one of the corners. I cannot gift it

Exactly as expected. A really fun and interesting optical and artistic bauble.Shipping took a while (from China to US), but it arrived in pristine condition. Not even a fingerprint on it.Pictures don't do an item like this justice. If you've never seen or handled one of these, you're in for a treat.

It was smaller than I anticipated and I would have preferred it to be larger, but it is what it is...at least we got it before the holidays. Whew!

The prism is really lovely and appears rainbow in the light.Note that it is NOT a cube. The non-optical frosted sides of the cube are square and have longer edges than the rectangular optical sides. (See pictures.)You can also see on the frosted sides where the seams of the internal prism surfaces intersect, but they are nearly invisible when looking at the optical faces.Now, I also want to note that my item arrived with a small chip on a non-optical face. I contacted the seller (CynKen) and got a replacement for no additional cost to me.So, for a lovely product and good customer service, I am giving this five stars.(Also note - I got this basically for fun, and not for use in a lab or anything, so I can't comment on how well this item will perform in a laboratory setting.)
