This cutter is on the larger size. It’s perfect for people with arthritis and can’t grip a smaller handle very well.

Although I own the Oxo Good Grips Mandoline Slicer (http://www.amazon.com/Good-Grips-V-Blade-Mandoline-Slicer/dp/B000QJIU6G/ref=sr_1_22?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1409775796&sr=1-22&keywords=oxo+julienne+slicer), I was looking for a smaller gadget for when I waned to quickly julienne vegetables. I purchased this peeler upon recommendation from a friend.I enjoy the fact the peeler is duel bladed (having both a straight and a julienne blade). The overall construction and quality of the product is good; especially for the price. Unfortunately, it was designed for right handed individuals making it not user friendly for lefties like me. As a result, I would only recommend this if you are right handed.

I have owned one for 7 years and when my mother needed a new can opener this was the only one I would buy. Excellent product. If I ever need another this is the only one I will buy.

Nice smooth operation. Quality that I expect from Cuisinart. The stainless steel finish should prevent rust which causes difficulty when operating. I got these to replace my other for that reason.
