I actually used these for a Halloween decoration on my garage door. It gets COLD here, but they stayed on for over a month, no slipping, and I'll be able to use them next year. I can not attest to writing on them however.

They work perfectly. I use them in the classroom for labels on a timeline among other things. They are easy to write on and erase cleanly.

The highlights: Vibrant colors! Surface is great for writing and erases nicely. Decent magnet strength. Just what I was looking for to keep our busy family’s schedule organized! The details: I like for my entire family to know what is happening in the week ahead so that everyone is on the same page. I have 3 kids who can’t read (and a husband who sometimes chooses not to). I wanted to have a system for everyone to be able to look at the week ahead and could just tell by the color who had something on what day. We have a Melissa and Doug daily calendar that I found it too cumbersome to update it daily, but really liked the thickness of the magnets. Originally, I was looking for magnets of the same thickness with dry erase properties. These magnets are not as thick, but the rest of the features are so great that it doesn’t matter to me. (My kids and I can remove them fine with our fingernails, my husband cannot). The colors are vibrant enough to differentiate across the room. This helps me see things quicker at a glance. Our black expo markers wrote on them and I can clearly read the blank on the colors. The magnets on these are stronger than the M&D magnets. They can still hold to the board well with 2 sheets of printer paper. I am very happy with my purchase! I can see these magnets being used for other things and in other places in the future.

I needed something to add our office employees' name to a metal mail organizer and these work very well. I wish they were a little stronger of a magnet, but they are working well. They are wider than the division of the slots, so I cut these in half. Also, the green is one of our company's colors, so it's really nice.I recommend these.

Cheap 8mm cord is always a crap shoot. Will it be supple like my dynamic climbing rope or stiff as the Harbor Freight tie downs? This one happily went with the former. This is solid cord with the right amount of stiffness for friction and suppleness to bend complex knots. It's a good buy!

I am a hobbyist tree climber and I learned on nothing but friction hitches. Even though I've advanced in my gear, accessory cord like this is great for getting you out of a pinch without sacrificing much noticeable weight to be carried at all.My main Climbing static rope is 11mm so this 8 mm is ideal for friction hitches. My current favorite is a Valdotain Tresse or VT for short. Of course, your mileage may vary as different ropes have different finishes and will require you to experiment to see what works for you with different number of wraps and diameters.

We have metal shelving units in our garage and I reorganized everything this past summer. These were perfect to note what was BEHIND the bin in the front. My family loves how easy it is to find stuff out there now. Great purchase!

I won't be doing any climbing with this rope; rather I simply wanted some general-purpose rope to have around the house, and this fits the bills. It feels really strong and durable, and if it's designed for climbing, I figure it must be strong rope. The ends are nicely finished, so they won't be unraveling. I got the 20-foot length, which isn't really long enough to get much done. Nice rope, though.

I picked up the BlazeBeam 8mm accessory cord with the intention of using it for prussiks on 10mm climbing rope. I might end up using some of it as a tether or linesman belt for my saddle hunting setup as well. Either way, it's good cord and will be getting used quite a bit over the next couple months. I wish it was available in one or more neutral colors but it's certainly not the end of the world.

As advertised, but... it's promoted as a 'climbing rope. Not sure how much climbing you will be doing with 20 ft. I guess this is really about evaluating the rope, not the length. The rope seems high quality, and the specs would indicate it's up to the task. As a utility rope, it's great -- strong, flexible and comes with a handy guide of knots, mostly climbing, but again, back to the beginning, not sure how much climbing you'll do with 20 feet. Still , this seems like a great rope.
