did not even know why steam was escaping out of the side of our rice maker, which my wife absolutely loves, and makes outstanding rice, we should know, we have rice almost every single night, my wife prefers jasmine rice. So when we noticed this problem, my wife thought this very expensive rice maker was toast, well, thank goodness for " The Google " as I quickly found out theses gaskets are supposed to be replaced on a regular basis, six months to a year depending on use and condition of the gasket. This gasket fit perfect, and solved the issue. Good as new.

Works as advertised. Easy to replace seal and kept our rice cooker going! Defiantly cheaper than buying a new one.
