This is a high quality bin with a beautiful finish. The swing lid works smoothly for privacy and keeps wandering pups from snooping in the garbage. We purchased this for the guest powder room and it really elevates the space. Larger size than most dinky trash bins for bath but that adds to both it’s good looks and function.

I was wanting a bathroom trash can but wanted some type of lid. Didn't want a foot petal that would possibly break over time. When I found this one it checked that box. It is the perfect size and well made. And I particularly love the color combination that matches my bathroom colors. I have now ordered another one for my other bathroom.

The "gold" lid is brushed brass, not gold.The black can portion is a rough coated texture, not a smooth, painted metaltexture.Very nice looking. 4 gallon capacity is better than a lot of the small space trash cans out there. It works great in my office.Swinging lid functions fine, though it does catch on the bag and hangs about 3 inches into the can. (side note, lid would def not keep a toddler or MY dogs out of the trash lol)It did conveniently come with some white garbage bags, but they rip easily. The ring keeps the bags from showing on the outside of the can, but I like it better with black bags because you can see it when the lid swings.
