Just alot of interference, highly dependent on how you power the device. Hiss at higher volumes, And the 3.5mm ports are easily broken from inside.

there the sound volume is actually what you have set on your computer, so you will need to set your computer volume low and then use the volume control in this device to increase to the desire volume. However if your headset/speakers are getting power already then it wont matter, regardless what volume number you have set it you wont be able to increase or lower it. If you are looking for a switch board with independent volume control for each output, this is not your device. IF you are solely going to use it for headphones with no independent power then this is your device.

Similar to a previous review I discovered the volume control does not allow adjustment to zero volume. I am using the device to send audio from our soundboard to several speakers in the building and our video distribution channel. The inputs to these systems require different levels and it was very annoying that I can't reduce the level on a channel down to where I want it. I had to reduce the input level to the device but that limits the output level to the other channels. I'm looking at another device.

This thing is absolutely useless. There is no 0 setting. A minimum volume is always outputting to all the ports and it's actually pretty loud. So there is no 0-level output per port. This makes it useless for my setup. I run headphones, computer speakers, and a 3rd headset off my splitter amp. I stream and record so I need the speakers to NOT output noise which is why I run the headset. Not being able to set the volume output with the controls provided makes this thing useless and that limitation is a HUGE detail that should have been mentioned on the product page. I thought this thing looked nice, I liked how most of the ports were on the back which is why I replaced my working splitter amp for this. HUGE MISTAKE and a waste of my time. I will be returning this.
