I got this specifically to install in my enclosed trailer which has a portable air conditioner in it. The vent is of good quality and I had no issue adapting it to fit to the exhaust hose kit for my portable AC unit. It's a nice looking unit also another reason that I picked it because it matches the color of my enclosed trailer. It works as it should and gives my ac plenty of flow through the opening. I also have had new issue with water getting in. Very good price for such a good looking vent that is usable for so many different things.

As part of a whole house remodel, I have been trying the round metal style bath fan exterior wall vent caps instead of the plastic square "wedge" style commonly found at the local big box stores. So far I have ordered 4 different brands of the 4-inch round hooded stainless steel type, all made in China, to see if there was any real difference between them. This review is for the Puunkeey brand and is the 4" round with hood in black coated stainless steel. This brand and model vent is clearly of a better build quality than another less expensive brand I ordered. To be fair, this item was almost twice the per unit list price of the less expensive brand (which was in a 2-pack for about the same price), but there is definite difference in the quality vs the cheaper 2-pack brand (which I also reviewed separately). This Puunkeey vent appears basically identical to the similar items (from ZZHypGr and PIIYOOSNN) and most likely came from the same production source. At the moment on Amazon, all three of the better quality vents are about the same price - but this certainly could change. Comparing build quality between the better ones and the cheaper 2-pack version, the metal is thicker, the edges are rolled or have bends to be stronger and not leave a sharp edge. Additionally, this product version shows some added thought in the design to have a formed drip hole to make sure condensation or blowing rain does not get trapped behind the lip of the vent. Will see how the finish holds-up over time, but I like the look, and expect the stainless material will survive better than the more common plastic wedge style versions at about the same price point if purchased at the local stores. Also please note these vents do not come with any sort of backdraft damper mechanism, this was known from the photos and description, so if a damper is needed/desired would need to add an inline one separately. In my case, the bathroom vent fans have a backdraft damper as part of the fan unit itself.

I thought this thing was going to be a little smaller and thin but it was beyond my expectations. Feels very durable and is about the size of half a soccer ball. Very easy to install and no screws required. I mounted it on the back wall of my new shop I'm building and it looks great and it'll last the life of the shop for sure. Great product

All metal, well constructed air vent. Clever design, the hood and the drain will prevent water into your house. The screen will block critters. Make sure you measure the pipe size. I like it.
