I got this to keep my kids off the plugs, because the wall adapter is rectangular and horizontal vs square & vertical. Kids wrecked it in short order. It's also hinged, and the part that goes around the outlet is very thin and flimsy. My kingdom for an outlet cover that will encase a horizontal plug that keeps the kids off.....

Adhesive strip supplied with the unit was extremely poor. Did not stick to a smooth wood surface, and fell off the wall after less than 30 minutes.Ended up screwing it to the wall through small holes located under the top. Had to remove the hinged door in order to do this.Not sure this is a good value at $20. Can’t really recommend this product.

After installing and a rain came the box fell off wall. Reason I bought was to protect outlet from rain.

It’s all right construction wise, but the backing doesn’t stick long and it’s falling off now after a couple months. Not really happy about that
