CTA Manufacturing comenzó en 1978 con algunas herramientas especializadas y muchas ideas geniales. Después de pasar más de años configurando la distribución mundial de los nombres en el negocio, los fundadores de CTA decidieron llevar algunas de sus propias ideas al mercado. Originalmente llamada "Classic American Tools", la empresa se expandió de fabricar alrededor de 20 herramientas especializadas a más de 1000 herramientas bajo el nombre CTA.

This is an essential tool to remove the intake manifold on VW 2.5l engine. It is plenty long enough to reach the two lower bolts. This tool is well made and good quality.

It's a pain in your end and hands to deal with the middle bold that holds the intake manifold, hard to reach, hard to find it. Don't waste your time in some short hex keys, because the don't work well, buy the tool and it's going to save you time, and your hands will thank you. When you install back the manifold make sure to place the bolt in the manifold and hold it with this tool, then screw it in followed by the rest. It's a pest to deal with the middle screw that's hard to reach. Good tool and I recommend it.

Good tool.Be aware that its too big for a AAN engine (urs4-6).Bough that specifically to unscrew the screws holding the intake but i had to put it in my drill and grind it down with an angle grinder so it pass tru the holes of the intake.

I have used this tool to replace the oil filter housing in my MKV Jetta (2.5 engine) twice.You can make do without it by using a 6mm hex bit with a 1/4 drive and a 9-10 in. extension, but you will deeply regret you don't have this stool if the hex bit happens to fall into the intake manifold area. I did that once before purchasing this and I don't ever want to do it again.It is a little expensive, and I wish I had bought it when it was on sale, but it is quite recommendable.Do youself a favor if you happen to have a VW with a 2.5 engine and buy it, you may only use it once in a lifetime, but it will definitely save you a lot of work and frustration.
