I use this for my feeder roaches, and i thought that they were asking me to put in too few crystals for a gallon of water. Apparently I was wrong. I decided, with this bag, I have enough, and if they don't work I can add more. Nope. I got a whole gallon of water soaked up, and sealed, now when I need to give my roaches water crystals, this works great

I got these for my feeder insects. I read the reviews on many items & have to say these were the best value for the cost. I live in a rural area with a well & my water is VERY mineral driven. So with that said 4 cups of water took 2 heaping teaspoons to gel up but again this works for me so I truthfully I couldn't be happier.

I’m actually surprised by just how good these water crystals are! You get a very large bag of crystals and adding only one teaspoon of crystals to 4 cups of water essentially turns the entire 4 cups of water into water crystals. I wasn’t expecting to make so many with such a small amount of crystals and I began preserving the extra water crystals in sealed containers. The only downside is that the water crystals begin to shrink and become more liquidy after a number of weeks so don’t bother trying to preserve them for months on end. But this isn’t much of an issue given the large number of crystals you receive. You can certainly afford to throw some out if you accidentally make too much without feeling like you’re throwing away your money. I bought these water crystals mainly for my Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, but I will likely also end up using them for my feeder insects like crickets and dubia roaches.

Amazing product saves me so much money.Insect water is like 10 dollars for 12 ozThis makes like 200 oz of insect water for about 10 dollars will buy again and hopefully get the right stuff the first time.I breed crickets and dubia roaches to feed my reptiles.4 stars because the company sent the wrong thing first. The package had the wrong label and as a result also had the wrong bar code. They quickly sent the right product at no charge to me and covered return shipping of the wrong product.
