This ice scoop is just the right size for most casual drinks at residential parties/gatherings. It is VERY well made, heavy and can be "slammed" into ice with no damage to it.You will really like the drain holes. This sounds like a minor thing, but once you start using your new scoop you will see how practical those drain holes are as they help drain away water/melted ice from the ice you are going to put into your drink(s).The scoop is dishwasher safe, but I would recommend that you put it on the TOP shelf of the dishwasher and remove it as soon as your washing load it done. Believe me, stainless steel DOES RUST depending on the quality/type of stainless that was used in manufacturing a particular item. So, don't leave the scoop exposed to moisture any longer than necessary. When you are done using it, hand dry it off and then store it for later use. You will get years of use out of this scoop!

Cuenta con unos agujeros que hacen más fácil filtrar el agua de los hielos sin tener que escurrirlos contra la pared de la hielera, el material es bastante grueso y estético.

Ordered for work. It sits in an open ice bucket all day. So the draining slots are essential for us. Great quality and sturdy and no rusting even though it spends about 8 hrs a day in ice/water.

Non standard use. I have a bunch of aquariums and sometimes I need to scoop out the gravel in the tanks for one reason or another.This helps a TON to scoop out manageable amounts of gravel and drain the water out prior to putting that gravel into a bucket or something. A real lifesaver when it comes to the skin of my hands (previously I would just use my hands to scoop out the gravel, and my nails and skin would get all abraided from it)I’m sure it scoops ice just fine... but for my purposes it’s more than perfect!

Estupendo cucharón para hielo. El material está muy bien trabajando, de buen peso y además bonito acabado.El cucharón tiene hoyos en el fondo para que el agua de los hielos se escurra y sólo de sirva el puro hielo.El punto negativo es que había varias partes del cucharón con alguna sustancia negra pegada. Se pudo remover sin tanto problema pero debieran vender los productos en buen estado.

Si buscas una palita para poner hielos en tu vaso es una excelente opción, está bien hecha y funciona para recoger bien los hielos, no es demasiado grande pero lo suficiente para tomar una buena cantidad de hielos, yo compre 2 una para la fábrica de hielos del congelador y otra para mi bar
