Great filter we have it in bedroom and usually it smells dusty after a shower but 2 weeks with the filter on the air is good. Great for asthmatics!

I love the quiet mode, hardly know it's on, great when working or sleeping. LIke the light option, can have it on or off. Noticeably less dust ! Will buy another.

This air purifier was very easy to set up and get running. All that was required was removing the included filter from its plastic bag, twisting the bottom cover to open up the filter compartment, inserting the filter, and twisting the bottom cover again to close and lock it in. Basic operation is also simple: there's a touch control on top to select a fan speed, or an "Automatic" setting. More advanced options include timer settings, a "Night" setting for the quietest operation, and some options for the LED lighting on the unit.I'm using this in the basement of our home, a smallish bedroom and office with a cat litter box. I put the air purifier on "Auto" and let it do its thing. I've been running it for about a week, and did not hear it kick out of its lowest-speed setting even once. The good news about this is that the purifier is right by the bed, and the lowest speed is VERY quiet. Yes, it is audible, but not at all interfering with sleep even just a foot or two from my ear. I can feel it sucking in air around its circumference, and expelling air from the top, so I think it's doing something, but I was suspicious - the air quality down here is so good it hasn't had to kick into a higher gear even once?So I broke out some wooden kitchen matches, lit one, and held it inches from the purifier. The suction quickly extinguished the match, and it began to smoke. Then, it happened - the fan kicked in to a faster (and louder) speed, the top turned from blue to green. And just as quickly (10 seconds later?), it kicked back down to quiet. The smoke was gone, but even a couple minutes later, the sulfur smell was not. I manually set the purifier to its highest speed, and a couple minutes later the smell was gone. (Note: using the higher speeds results in significantly louder operation.)The moral of this story? I think this air purifier is well designed, and I think it generally works, but I am suspicious about how well the "Automatic" setting works, and how much good is being done when it's set to its lowest / quietest setting. Going forward I will probably set it higher manually during the day, and engage the night mode for quiet operation during bedtime hours.
