This was the exact color I needed for a leather purse. But I needed the strap to be narrower so I folded both edges in in half lengthwise towards the middle so that the cream stripe ran down the middle, then I sewed the two together with matching thread (people who make purse straps will know what I am talking about!) and it now looks great with rosa colored d rings etc. Now it is twice as thick, half as wide and looks to be really sturdy. Time will tell, of course. I will use rivets to hold the D-rings/slider, as triple thickness might be harder to sew. Not sure what the content of this webbing is, but it must have some poly in it, as I was able to burn loose threads to a certain extent.

The feel of this strapping is very soft. I can't wait to use it on a backpack that will be used daily. I gave it 4 stars because I thought the stripe portion was more white than tan. I feel the site could have done a better job of stating exact color combo rather than just listing the color as wb07. Unfortunately, the black/cream combo is pictured right next to the brown/tan combo. This, to me, caused the black/tan to look more black/white. I would not hesitate to purchase the product again. I just wanted others to know about color combo.
